Post #2 Truth, Conspiracy and Reality
Written on May 10, 2020 |
Ideas pop into my head for blog posts all the time, a lot while I’m on my walk, listening to YouTube interviews and lectures. The problem is, I rarely have a pen and paper with me when the inspiration hits, and by the time I get home, something else has come up and the idea is lost in the ether of my mind somewhere!! Maybe over time I will be able to get that all organized!!
Anyway, yesterday as I was walking, I was listening to this week’s Highwire Episode of Del Bigtree’s interview of Zach Bush. Zach is the person that first inspired me to get educated about the bigger picture of health. As a triple board certified doctor (one of the few in the country) he had to be really smart, and yet he had a way of communicating that was very easy to understand, and all the different subjects he is knowledgeable about blew my mind. Anyway, I have immense appreciation for his contributions. So back to the story. Several days ago, the you tube I was listening to was Dr. Joe Mercola interviewing Dr. Judy Mikovits. Hadn’t ever heard of her before, but in his introduction, Dr. Mercola spoke very highly of her and I’ve been listening to his stuff for quite some time and although I don’t always agree with him, I respect him and trust that he brings credible people to his show. As they talked, it was very apparent that Dr. Mercola was learning new information from Dr. Mikovits as she spoke. This made my eyebrows go up. Her intelligence was also very apparent in the conversation. However, she wasn’t quite as good as Zach Bush at making it easy to understand. A couple times I was completely lost. It was easier to follow the second time I listened though, and that may have been because I had watched a couple of her other interviews in the meantime. When I posted about it on my facebook page when I got back home, I was shocked by the responses I received. I need to back up a step or two here, and also note that Dr. Mikovits made some allegations regarding Dr. Tony Faucci and the way the “system” operates, that were less than flattering, which I found rather disturbing. Now admittedly, I have a bias against Big Pharma and the way they operate including and especially buying influence and manipulating governmental systems and organizations. I’m sure we will get to that in another blog post.
Turns out, Dr. Mikovits has just published her second book, and there is a documentary called Plandemic. The first episode of this movie which was apparently just recently released, had been sent to me on Facebook. I was able to watch it, and sent a recommendation that other’s do the same, “before it gets removed.” And sure enough, within an hour or two of my post, it had vanished from You Tube. Fortunately, several other people then sent me the actual website for the documentary (plandemicmovie.com) and it was on a couple other video channels. We’ll get into the issue of censorship in another post. For here, I wanted to talk about my conclusions after considering all the comments I received from posting about her appearances.
There were people that said she was flat out lying. There were people that said her theories have been proven false because they could not be replicated. There are people that said she committed fraud in her studies and that she stole material. That she lied about the circumstances of her arrest (yes she was held in jail for 5 days) and all sorts of things. Here is my issue. I have no idea what the actual truth is!!! I hear her side of the story and she sounds genuine, sincere and full of integrity, although it is very true that she holds resentment toward Tony Faucci. Not so sure I blame her, I don’t particularly like him myself. That’s based on only a little bit of information about him prior to hearing all this and the gut feeling I get when I watched him on the news conferences. What I am sure about is that Dr. Mikovitz is an extremely intelligent person, that she knows what she is talking about when she talks about science and her research, and she has proposed solutions to many of the issues I think we are currently facing regarding health and wellness, and they are doable with minimal injury to innocent people. That last one is the big kicker for me. Solutions!!!!
And, given what her solutions are to issues like vaccination, Big Pharma control of everything and basic corruption in the health care system, that last one carries really big weight for me. Plus it explains how all the other things could happen. No one is denying that she was put in jail, that she was locked out of her lab, all of her notes and scientific material confiscated, and she lost her job. Then, she was not allowed to offer her defense to bring out her side of the entire story. Thus, corruption could very well have caused the other complaints against her to happen. I don’t find that difficult to believe, nor do I find it surprising or palatable. Given all of this, my conclusion is that I believe, support and respect her. I would rather take this position and be wrong, than to dismiss her and have what she is saying be true – I find that the consequence of that decision is not something I can stomach. If she is who she says she is and what she says is true, we have a really big problem and it must be fixed. If I am wrong and she is not credible, I have to eat crow and things go on as they are. That is acceptable to me. My conclusion is very much a case of “the lesser of two evils.”
Now, the reason I brought Zach Bush into this conversation, was that I think that the reason all of this mess has happened with Dr. Mikovits is that with all of her intellectual and scientific gifts and curiosity, she was not nearly as adept at working within the system she found herself in. Her focus was completely on understanding scientific phenomenon using the whole scientific method of learning. And she learned so much. But what she did learn was contrary to The Agenda, (illness management vs health) and she did not have the flexibility and social functioning skills to extricate herself from the system to continue her studies in a less biased and threatening environment. I think this is where Zach Bush comes into the picture. After 17 years in medical academia, being a teacher, researcher and student, he finally realized that The Agenda, did not fit his personal beliefs and he extricated himself and started his own clinic and scientific lab to pursue his interests of the health and well-being of his patients, our society and humanity as a whole. Maybe is was the nature of scientific research in our country… Dr. Bush could support himself with his medical practice until his lab got it’s own feet, and Dr. Mikovits didn’t have those resources. I don’t know.
What I do know is that this whole experience has pointed out to me several truths:
- People have many different opinions
- Some people feel very strongly about their opinions
- Some people lack skills in relating effectively with people of differing opinions, and
- The divides that can be caused by these truths can very easily be manipulated by people and powers with agendas.
Until next time, good health to you!!!
